Castlewellan Show
Saturday 16th July

The 44th Castlewellan Show on Saturday 16th July was held in the extensive grounds of Castlewellan Forest Park. The judge Dr. Gwyn Evans Flock 40 from Wales was kept busy in between the sunshine and showers with over 60 sheep to judge and classes with as many as 16 sheep in a class. Dr. Gwyn Evans congratulated the Northern Ireland Lleyn breeders on the quality of the sheep present. The Champion Lleyn was a Shearling Ram from C & A Kennedy Flock 1618 and Reserve Champion was a Shearling Ewe also from C & A Kennedy Flock 1618.
