Mrs Helen Wells from Cardigan had the day’s female top price when she sold her shearling ewes sired by Penywern Squinty for £270 to RST & SA Morgan. Then a new centre record from Dai & Cynthia Morris, Carmarthen saw them sell their pen of third prize ewe lambs sired by Penywern Maldwyn the Royal Welsh Show Champion 2011 for £260 to Mr G Jones. In the Ram section D & N Bennett sold their shearling ram for 2000gns (£2100) to SL Keswick.

The top priced ram was Plasucha Prospector with the same sire as the Royal Welsh Show Champion.
