A very good show for the Lleyn breed and Society this week. The show classes on Monday were some of the best ever seen. They were very strong numbers with 25 shearling ewes and 23 shearling rams. It was great to see Christine Lewis win the championship with her very stylish homebred shearling ewe. [More]

A fine day with the rain kept away. An improved entry of sheep was seen this year, with seven exhibitors turning out sheep. There were some strong classes put forward in front of judge David Alexander with some variation to pick through. Classes saw entries of 10 to 12 with a dedicated audience around the ring at all times. Messrs McGowan Flocks 894 took the overall championship on Thursday at the Royal Highland with their Aged Ram. Ian & Tom Walling of Farmstock Genetics (flock 983) were reserve overall with their Ewe. [More]
