Management of pedigree Lleyns and their breeding could not be easier than with tagging systems from Roxan.
Produced in the Scottish Borders at Selkirk, tags can be used to record individual animal’s breeding records from birth for pedigree animals to slaughter tags - both electronically and visually.
The TagFaster system is for either automatic or hand application. Double tags feature the lamb number and distinctive year colour coding on the electronic tag.
The TagFaster applicator is easy loading and fast for tagging, dispensing strips of 10 double or 20 slaughter tags. TagFaster tags have proven excellent read performance and have been designed with animal welfare in mind, giving maximum ear space with anti-pinch hinge. They are also lightweight with a mid-sized pin, ideal for new born lambs!
For breeders wanting to apply tags by hand, Rubba 1 strip tags are also available in strips of 10 pairs. Again, each individual tag can be printed with farm management information and breed society details. The Rubba 2 flag tag is currently used on society registered rams for its large visible print.
