The Competition was judged by John Kingan Flock 1615

The correct order was YXAB

Here are the judges reasons:

I would place Y first, she is a very correct ewe upright and on her toes with a lovely feminine head white hair and has put a lot of effort into her lambs.

I placed X second because even though she has also done her lambs equally as well as Y she has not got the same spark in her eye and the overall trio doesn't have the same balance

Third I place A who has possibly the best pair of lambs but is slightly soft of her pasterns and stripping wool is something we should not see in a Lleyn

Last is B who is a heavier skinned sheep with longer ears, her lambs do not quite match as a pair and appear to have had less maternal input than the others.

Therefore I place my selection as Y X A B

Tie Break Question - How many 2019 born rams have been registered with the Society = 1,113
