The Southern England Club invites all Society members and friends to Sussex for the 2019 AGM weekend. Based at the newly refurbished Langstone Hotel near Portsmouth on Hayling Island overlooking Langstone Harbour. The Langstone boasts an award winning health & leisure club and guests staying at the hotel have complimentary access.
The weekend will include Saturday spent at Goodwood Estate where members will get a access to see the herd of Sussex cattle and commercial flock of sheep. There will also be chance to see the award winning Southdown Sheep. It is also hoped to give an insight to other areas of this beautiful estate, these details will be confirmed in your booking confirmation pack.
The Saturday AGM and Award Presentations will be followed by the Annual Dinner. We will be joined by Admiral John Lipiett who will entertain with stories such as raising the Mary Rose from Portmouth Harbour.
Being so close to Portmouth gives a chance for you to explore the historic naval dock yard with HMS Victory Mary Rose and other attractions. Treat yourself to naval history in a lovely setting.

Saturday am - Coach leaves for a visit to Goodwood Estate.
Saturday pm - AGM, Awards Presentation followed by Annual Dinner
Sunday am - Visit to Portsmouth (Own transport)
