2023 Thainstone Sale
Top prices for Lleyn sheep were hard to attract at the Thainstone Society Sale, where 94 gimmers averaged £168.11 (-£3.47 on the year) having sold to heights of £192 from Blackpots, Auchnagatt. The same home also produced pens to £175 and £170, repsectively.
The Crawford family of Teuchitfauld sold their best to pen of gimmers to £185.
A small selection of 8 Lleyn rams levelled at £379.99 and reached a top price of 580gns from Arwick, Evie.
Blackpots sold their pen leader for 450gns and 400gns, whilst Teuchitfauld attained a top price of 400gns.
