Securing that top price was the pre-sale show female champions, a pen of 5 from H Goldie, South Bowerhouses, Dumfries. These girls headed home with C Byrne, Lathones Farm, Fife.
Next in the trade stakes at £420 was a pen of 24 from C Davidson, Skaill, Orkney. These sold to J & A Dunlop, Ashfield Farm, Maybole – who also bought another pen of 24 from the same home for £410 per head.
