Lleyn Commercial Quality

Lleyn lambs continue to dominate the prime lamb market up and down the country. Check out the most recent prices sent in from members for their sheep:

 

  • Sent in from W Davies. A pen of 20 pure-bred Lleyn lambs, weighing 43kg and achieving £168 per head at Ruthin Auction Mart.

 

  • Sent in from S Lentern (Flock 03156). His pen of pure bred single Lleyn at 49kg made £170 at Exeter Mart, with the other pen of pure bred Lleyns that average 41.6kg and making £150 per head. They average about 13 weeks old.

 

  • Lleyn lambs from JA & R Geldard & Son top the prime lamb market at North West Auctions, reaching £207 per head.
